I've been considering both of these titles for a long time now. Part of me is leaning on Reckoning and Reckoning only. But I thought I'd come and get community opinion on them both. Are either worth a purchase?

Both are fantastic titles, but I think Dragon's Dogma just barely edges out. Though Dragon's Dogma is not worth getting until Dark Arisen is out - since it comes with the main game + the expansion, for $40

Go for dragon's dogma, if you want a deeper experience and reality but if you love Fable graphic and story wise, reckoning is your game.

I agree with above get Dogma, but wait for the new version to hit. It was a really fun game, a few qualms here and there but over all very cool and the pawn system is fun to making great parties.
Hard work never killed nobody but I ain't taking any chances

Having done almost everything in both, I'll definitely say Dragon's Dogma.
I talk to myself because I'm the only one whose answers I accept.

So I played the demo for both last night, and being similar in genre they both offer enough unique qualities that I'm thinking I'll get both now. And seeing as I saw Reckoning for $30 brand new at a store near my work, and DD rereleasing with it's xpac bundle at $40, seems like I can't go wrong.
thanks to everyone for their tips
