    Dragon's Dogma or Reckoning?

I've been considering both of these titles for a long time now. Part of me is leaning on Reckoning and Reckoning only. But I thought I'd come and get community opinion on them both. Are either worth a purchase?

Both are fantastic titles, but I think Dragon's Dogma just barely edges out. Though Dragon's Dogma is not worth getting until Dark Arisen is out - since it comes with the main game + the expansion, for $40

Go for dragon's dogma, if you want a deeper experience and reality but if you love Fable graphic and story wise, reckoning is your game.

I'd pick Dragon's Dogma over Reckoning but only SLIGHTLY. Like by a hair. If you love RPGs, please, eventually get both as they are both phenomenal games.

I agree with above get Dogma, but wait for the new version to hit. It was a really fun game, a few qualms here and there but over all very cool and the pawn system is fun to making great parties.

Having done almost everything in both, I'll definitely say Dragon's Dogma.

I need to play them both as well. Playe the demo for both. Seemed like great games. Think I enjoyed Dogma a little better though.

So I played the demo for both last night, and being similar in genre they both offer enough unique qualities that I'm thinking I'll get both now. And seeing as I saw Reckoning for $30 brand new at a store near my work, and DD rereleasing with it's xpac bundle at $40, seems like I can't go wrong.

thanks to everyone for their tips

Enjoy them. Reckoning looks and plays great but be prepared for bugs and glitches that will never be fixed.

I didn't experience any during my play-through of, Reckoning but I have heard others experiencing some issues.

I have both but only played, Reckoning and it's a lot of fun.

Good to know. I'm debating two games to buy on gamefly right now with my $5 off coupon. Coincidentally I'm debating between Dogma and Reckoning. Lol

a game breaking bug exists in the main quest, you'll have a quest to break 4 huge red crystals protected by Tuatha in a swamp area ; those crystals have to be broken ONLY AFTER you take the quest or you can't finish the game
