Resident Evil: Revelations HD - Infernal Gameplay trailer

The console and PC versions of Resident Evil: Revelations will include a brand new “extreme difficulty” mode called Infernal Mode, Capcom has announced.

According to the publisher, not only is Infernal Mode more challenging than your standard gameplay modes, but it also “remixes” enemy and item placement.

A gameplay video of the mode was released and is available below. It shows a brand new enemy called the Wall Blister, a mutated creature borne from the T-Abyss virus.

Resident Evil: Revelations is due out for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC on May 21.

Looks pretty good. I like the idea of mixing up locations. That would make the game feel like a new playthrough instead of a replay. This game looks like it has more of a Dead Space 1 feel to it than a RE game. But I never played the original so can't say more except for what I'm seeing. It does look good though.

I've only played the 3DS demo, but it looks like a decent HD translation. It's one of the better-looking 3DS titles so there's not a whole lot they could do in the way of enhancing the visuals.
