God will send holy soldiers to purge the earth and destroy humanity. Another one would be to have to be a World War III scenario in which the US, PAL, Asian unified front do battle. Lets hope this never happens and if it does, I will curl up in fetal position until its over.

I was assuming we would have perfected space travel by then, and would have colonized some other planet in some other galaxy by then, and would be watching our poor old planet get destroyed from the comfort of our NEW homes. Of course, we also would have found some way to extend life long enough for us to be around to see it. Although, if we were that advanced, we would have probably found a way to stop that from happening anyway. Oh, skip it...

A new ice age will come (it won't end the world, but "restart" it so to speak). I've read that the world's temperature rises before cooling down and results in an ice age. It's a cycle the Earth goes through every few thousand years I think.

Depends how you define "worlds end". Do you mean the world we know it or the whole damn Tellus?
If you mean TOTAL destruction, Tellus going boom, then it will be destroyed by huge meteor, the Moon "falls" on Tellus or supernova. Whatever it is, it takes a whole lot of time and I'm pretty sure there are no humans anymore when some of these things happen.
As for the world we know it. Nuclear war sounds the best one. Or it doesn't even have to be war. One "oops" could start a chain reaction which eventually destroyes everything except ****roaches (...) and mantis shrimps. Mantis shrimps are just too cool to die.

Maybe humans won't even be around to witness the spectacular fireworks of the sun blowing up. Land will be flooded and the new ice age will freeze the water that's left. By then, hopefully we will have enough knowledge to survive such disasters, or not.

Well actually, if Sun blows up AKA goes supernova, Tellus blows up in the matter of seconds. It's just that powerful. Other thing, even if there would be any humans when this happens, they don't even see the explosion. And if they see, they see only about 2-3 seconds and then die. And if I remember correctly, if supernova happens, there is no chance that Black Hole comes after that.

I always thought black holes emerged from explosions of big stars like the sun.

how much of a disaster would it be to destroy every bit of evidence of human life?

remember we even have sattilites and an american flag and buggy on the moon (and those sattilites that went past pluto)


however i think that space travel will die down loads, once we get to pluto i think the space age will end, technolagy only goes in the direction of necceity and certincy and exploring a diffrent solar system goes against both these things

and its not certain we will get there anyway

I think history will survive. Just look at all the traces left of millions of years ago that are still among us. Unless the earth goes up in smoke I see no reason human history wíll be not around.
