Well, I wanted to buy few games for my VITA and PS3. The total was 127 but I can't make the purchase due to the error code 56. What is that? Anyone else having this problem?

I'm not sure what causes it but i do remember seeing somewhere that if you get that error your credit card will be locked from being used on psn for either 24 or 48 hours. Some people have suggested changing your details to a different card or removing your current one and trying it again in 24 hours.
I can read your thoughts.

Last week I wasnt able to use a credit card, strangly I didnt even get a error code just "Error". Had to go out and buy a $50 PSN card, since I wanted to for once take advantage of a PS+ deal.

So, I will wait and try it later. I remember with the old PSN. There was an error code as well which won't let you buy anything and the solution was. Just wait 4 to 6 days and it was ok after that.

For now, that is the option I have. I will buy the PSN card as well for now.
