It all makes sense now.. After all, the machine is hyped as "The next water cooler" and the fans of this water cooler just love to talk about bottom lines, publishers profit margins and stock prices. The world has become one giant office and I must be the guy they're all saying needs to grow up because I still like having fun.

Sorry, I just can't NOT facepalm.. This may sound crazy to some people, but I was actually looking real forward to seeing if Rare was going to make some out of left field awesome game for the new system launch. This just floors me.

I feel so bad about what Microsoft did to Rare. They basically bought them, cut their balls off and put them in their pocket to do Kinect and Avatar shit for the rest of all time.

Not surprised. I enjoy my 360 for the better multiplats but next gen I'm going PS4 only because its obvious that the xbox brand is headed in a more casual direction and MS wont have the better multiplat advantage anymore.

I can't say that this is shocking. Rare isn't really too much to brag about nowadays. Their best days were when they weren't owned by MS.
Does MS even own the Killer Instant i.p? I know they have banjo and perfect dark. Something wonky went on with the 007 golden eye hd port. That's mainly why I ask.
Prepare for meltdowns if these next gen console rumors are true. Phase 1: Denial. Phase 2: Mask a lie under "opinion" vs a fact. Phase 3: Bring up the PS3/360 era when it has nothing to do with the subject. Phase 4: Say that the power gap doesn't matter but constantly defend the weaker specs.

I always assumed it would be doing Kinect Sports 3.
"the next jaw-dropping, never-been-done-before Rare project".
However doesn't sound like KS3.Games are like woman, what you might find attractive I might not, and none of us know if we really like them untill we have played around with them for a while.

What MS did to Rare is a crime (not really). They went from a great game developer to mopping up the floor. For what MS paid for them they wasted a lot of money.
No wonder Bungie wanted out from under MS and that neither Bioware or Bizzare would sell to them.I don't need no stinkin' signature!
