Would you purchase a PS4 and sub to PS+ (or whatever it's called) if you could attach premium TV channels such as HBO/Cinemax/Showtime to your subscription instead of getting it through cable company?

This poll is worthless without more options. That all depends on what PS+ costs on the new one, how much extra I'd have to pay. What am I limited to on HBO/Max/Show (is it basically HBO GO?) Can I access it outside of my PS4 w/ other equipment (i.e. I've got an HBO Go account now which I can use on my laptop while traveling.)

Depends on the cost of the PS+ subscription...if it came out cheaper through PS+ than my current provider and the quality of the channel was comparable, then hell yes!

All depends on the cost of things. I'm curious to see how the tier system that is rumored is going to be setup. I wonder if it will include stuff like this. I doubt it but I guess we will wait and see.

First, I'll say that this question did not originate from me.

But to answer the bold, yes, HBOgo, you'll have the subscription to HBO/MAX/SHOW and everything that typically comes with a TV subscription, except it won't be going through the digital cable system.

Unfortunately I can't answer what the cost of PS+ would be since, well IDK the answer to that myself.

The cost would be the same to the TV subscription equivalent.

Really? It's an additional feature that wouldn't affect you if you didn't want it.

I was in a focus group, and there was a question almost like this, I guess I have to keep anonimity, so I changed something with the question, lol.

But when it was asked, I thought about it for a moment, I realized that I would save $100/month at least from no longer needing to have basic cable any more just to watch the premium channels.
