Why is the login separate on the website and forums?

Both of these should be together and while it's a small thing, it's one of those things I find annoying as heck. I login to the forums but have to login to the main page if I want to post on an article? eeeeesh.

It's not separate for me. You sure you aren't clearing your browsing data?

Its been like this since forever its the reason why I rarely ever comment on the front page.
IT never remebers my password on the frontpage liek when start typing uer name it pops up underneath, that never happens.

Right I just logged out of the forum then logged back in and went t the front page and I was logged in there too.

Wonder how long that will last?

I assume they're separate because whatever website software they use can't plug into vBulletin (or the other way around, to be fair).
