PlayStation 4 Proposed Title Screen....

I hope there won't be a title screen. I want the games to start instantly like they do on an iPad. And no offense, but 14 seconds is way to long for a startup screen if there should be one. But there really shouldn't be one.
Other opinions are available.

Knowing how branding works they will probably add a StartUp screen, Hey if they are going to make one might as well make it good....

Startup scren is fine. But the shorter it is, the better.

Looks a bit old fashioned would prefer something more snazzy!

It doesn't look bad but as others have said, the shorter the better,
I can read your thoughts.

I don't know why but the start up screen is one of the most important parts of console gaming for me. Nothing beats loading up the console for the first time and seeing a new start up. I was kinda bummed out when they stopped the PS3 one.

Why not try to go viral by making something original? You threw in two existing splash screens and the PS1 boot-up sound.
Sorry to sound harsh but Sony won't bat an eye. New consoles are about new experiences. A console's boot-up sequence should help reflect that.Last edited by Blacksite; 03-09-2013 at 18:56.

Name is probably going to be something nice and quick. Something a long the lines of the PS4 logo popping up and that's it.

A startup screen is fine...I'll see it that one time I initially boot up...but after that, I'll have it in low power/standby mode when not in use. The ability to just tap the power button and start playing is just freaking awesome. This thing is going to have a great and speedy OS.

Honestly, I don't like it. Especially the make believe part.
Also it's very predictable. Sorry I'm sure you've worked on it but it doesn't look new at all.

I used the New Sony theme which is make.believe and synced it with the old PlayStation 1 boot up sounds, And finished it off with the logo, Nothing to Flashy just nice and simple....
