PS4 trophies...will it happen?

What's everyone's opinion on trophies for PS4. Do you think Sony will keep them? If so, do you think it'll tweak them somehow?

Absolutely. They have a winning formula with trophies. Many people love them. Not all but a lot of them do.

I'm sure they'll keep them in some form. I never really cared for them. I don't find the idea of doing something repetitively just get a trophy very fun.

I'm sure trophies/achievements will continue to be utilized. I just want to see more for single-player and less for multiplayer. Sleeping Dogs' were pretty solid, in my opinion (attained all 59 of them).

I want to see zero multiplayer. It's bullshit that if you don't buy the game most of the time you can't get the platinum. I rent from Gamefly and I get
screwed over because of BS online passes.

I hope trophies from PS3/Vita are still counted, just add PS4 ones into the mix. Though trophies also need to either go the way of Uncharted or Mass Effect 3. I hate when games have shitty trophy lists (Tomb Raider), or half the list is freaking multiplayer.

(Uncharted usually have all single player with a few easy to get multiplayer, with DLC bringing in the usual multiplayer trophies. Mass Effect 3 had multiplayer trophies, but you could also get them in Single Player. -- such as: Finish all multiplayer maps on Gold or all single-player missions on Insanity.)

I know. I'm sure it will be added to your current score but I will be quite upset if it doesn't I don't want to lose my 3000+ trophies.

I would like to see the platinum trophy to look like platinum not blue trophy.

And a new trophy like (Diamond trophy) for completing box set games etc Metal Gear Solid HD collection and the God Of War box set and all the others so lke the Metal Gear Solid HD collection for ps3 has 3 games in 1, so if you complete each of the games you get the platinum trophys complete all the games you get a Diamond trophy.

I'm sure they will and I think they will be added to your current score but if you go into your trophies I think they will be under a separate heading so you have a ps4 trophy section and a ps3 trophy section.

And this is from a "retired" trophy whore. MP trophies are based on grinding (for the most part), which is an attempt to get the player to keep playing MP.

You know the unequivocal BEST and proven way to entice gamers to keep playing MP? Make it FUN and enjoyable, and continue to support it. *GASP*!

MP trophies which require more than 30-60 minutes of gameplay are just lazy imo. People who love the MP will play it regardless.

Agreed. MP trophies should just be treated as DLC trophies and be complimentary to the overall game trophy % and not the platinum itself
