I was a bit confused on the camera, is it just a better camera for the move or more? So do you have to have the camera plugged in all the time so it can detect your controller and display some colors like in-game health on that light bar? Or can you just play a regular game without that, yes i'll say it; gimmicky. That's what it seems like so far, but other than that I am really hyped for PS4!

I'm pretty sure it won't be an always on thing. That would bring my paranoia to an all-time high.

This... is my BOOMSTICK!

This could be an awesome thing that works out in my favor. Turn the thing on before a chick comes over, knock that thing out on my couch for a good solid 30 minutes- 1 hour, and then re-watch my conquest later on the following day.
Le Her- "What's that blue light?"
Le Me- "Nothing baby, just a video game I was playing before you came over....." Mwhahahaahaahahahahaa.

Jeez I hope not, that would be a big downside to me. I have a hard time believing that Sony would even try it though.

I said it in the "720" rumor thread about this and all say it here as well... A console that forces me to have a camera on to play will not find it's way on my shelves. But I have heard no such rumors from the PS4 (so far...)
When the Bogeyman goes to sleep every night, he checks his closet for Chuck Norris.
when Chuck Norris goes to sleep every night, he checks under his bed for Daryl Dixon!!

I think calling it a camera is giving people the wrong idea.
I already posted it but i will again with an added part here.
http://www.vg247.com/2013/02/25/ps4-...michael-denny/“Obviously the new 3D stereo camera and HD feed [will] be a lot better with AR aspects, and it can track the light source clearly in 3D so there are going to be features possible in a motion sense there. And obviously the DualShock 4 has improved SixAxis motion sensing so motion gaming is possible with the new controller”.
Its a light sensor that tracks the light bar on the Dual Shock 4. I dont think it watches people at all but Sony will have to confirm this.

Of course it's not going to be manditory to play games except those that are purely move. It's will be an augmentation for some games, but not required, just like using Six-Axis control - there will be an option to play games that support Six-Axis that don't require it.
Some of you just need to go out and by some Tin Hats to keep Big Brother from sucking out your brain waves. I've got them on E-bay really cheap. Just send me $20. And don't say you can't afford it, after all I know how much is in your bank account, and I know your Account number anyway. If you don't buy my Tin Hat, I'll drain your account. Buhhhhahahaha!!!
