i say wait until the end of this month. The 7 series is rumoured to be out so you might gain yourself a little more performance per $

I know how hard it is to be patient when ordering a computer in parts. I'm only on Month 2 and i'm debating getting cheaper bits so i can get it sooner

A new report from Fudzilla indicates that the GeForce GTX 780 might actually cost between €500 and €600, depending on the SKU.We've been going through a lot of rumors regarding the upcoming GeForce 700-series discrete desktop graphics cards, and a number of them contradict each other. The specifications have been more or less settled, however, the information on pricing keeps swaying. The previous report on pricing indicated that the GeForce GTX 780 would be priced a lot closer to the GTX Titan than the GTX 680. Assuming this latest report holds some truth, it appears that the GeForce GTX 780 will be priced between €500 and €600.
While this price range is still quite high, do consider that the GPU will carry quite a bit more punch than the GTX 680, and that the price hike is only about 20 percent more. This is actually good news. The price range of €500 to €600 should include a number of different versions of the card. For example, overclocked versions would likely cost closer to €600, while stock versions would be prices closer to the €500 mark. Moreover, this price range includes the VAT for European customers, which likely means that the prices for the US might actually be in the same numerical range: $500 to $600. Fair warning though, this is still a rumour, so take it all with a grain of salt. The same goes for the specifications in the table below, a number of them have been reported by several sources, but no official word has been given yet.

GPU CUDA Cores TMUs ROPs Memory Memory Bus Price
    GTX 780 GK110 2,496 208 40 3 GB 320-bit €500-€600
    GTX 770 GK104-425 1,536 128 32 2 GB 256-bit €360
    GTX 760 Ti GK104-225 1,344 112 32 2 GB 256-bit €200

    Source

I'd say wait, if you can. Your bound to get more for your money and if not, at least the 6 series will be cheaper. No point getting buyers remorse.

    True! Thanks for the info.

I have a question...Will the computer still run if i dont have a video card in it?

Also i was planning on reusing the hard drive but i have not erased anything in it, so my question is if it will work when i first turn on my computer since it has windows vista installed on it?

Hmm, depends on your CPU and motherboard... I know my motherboard even though it's a premium one doesn't support on board graphics via the CPU so it depends really.

You should be good to go then. That motherboard has DVI, VGA and HDMI and with the on the 3570K it has built in intel 4000 GPU so you could get away with using it for a little while. Don't expect to be playing games on anything far beyond normal though - if that.

Gonna put a fan in the dvd drive slots( I'm going to have to custom fit it). Anyone know of a good affordable case fan?

Also got rid of most all the wires that lead to the front(usb, mic, headphone) because i will not be using any of them and also to clear things up because there were so many useless wires.

Ok i have a problem. So i connected 2 new case fans last night and i wanted to check if they worked. So i plugged in the power supply onto the old motherboard and connected the main power board cable, case fans, and the power button. So i click the power button and everything turns on for 2 seconds then turns off. Keeps happening repeatedly. Any idea what it could be. Do you all think it is the power supply?

Ram is in the correct dim slots? If it was the PSU it wouldn't even power up, i don't think. Seems that it isn't even getting past POST so i have a feeling it's something to do with the hardware set up.

Well i took a stick of ram out while i was trying to connect everything. There was only 1 stick of ram in there. There was no hdd, cd drive, gpu connected either. Would that be a problem also?

That'd definitely be the problem. :P
