SourceNot a lot grows in Skyrim, where snow covers the ground and frozen winds rampage. I'd much rather be in the turquoise waters and lush tropical jungles of Far Cry 3.Luckily, Skyrim modder Soolie was way ahead of me. His Tropical Skyrim -- A Climate Overhaul mod gets rid of the snowy tundra and replaces it with jungles, deserts, beaches, bamboo forests, fiery volcanic areas and more.
There are new animals, too. Pandas replace some bears, as do rhino-like theriums; Jungle Spiders replace Frostbite Spiders; seals replace horkers; raptors replace wolves; tigers replace sabre cats; and apes replace trolls.
There's new lighting and weather, the water looks different, buildings have been altered, Nordic ruins now look like Ayleid ruins, ice caves are now stone with moss, and even fur and hide armours have become leopard fur.
A word of warning: Tropical Skyrim asks more of your PC, but there are ways described on the Tropical Skyrim mod page of negating this.
I haven't played Skyrim but i love the fact it now has Raptors in it. Could make it seem interesting

Looks so much better than the original...hated the snow.
It's just an excuse to not put more details in there.
But this makes the game look more generic but prettier. Almost like I've seen that stuff somewhere...reminds me of Farcry, puke.
But still better than the original!

Honestly, it wouldn't feel like skyrim, I love the snowy harsh climate that skyrim is in, it makes sense for the nords, and all the warmer looking outfits. This mod makes it look like I'm playing Just Cause 2.
I'll pass I think, but it looks cool for the video./UPSET THE ESTABLISHED ORDER AND EVERYTHING BECOMES CHAOS\

It looks good indeed, but I feel it loses the dark appeal of the original and neglects what the original offers...

Not to be a nag, but watching that video, I could not help but to think that this tropical paradise looks worse than the 2004 Far Cry. It is cool that they replaced animals with new ones, I do wish we are able to really see them in the video though. The whole time I was waiting to see a raptor.

they need to make a mod the strikes a balance so perfectly, that it appeals to all and keeps the atmosphere of the game

They did Mario to skyrim and that sucked... I love the hideout mods, they are more awesome

Thanks to Spyrde/Sylar
