I got the Collector's Edition at launch and I have to agree this game rocks! I had to laugh at the bad review scores because of the addition of MP or because people were saying that it didn't do anything new or different. It's GOW, it does a little of everything like it has in the past. I can't wait for the GOW 4 on PS4 and you know it's coming!!! Great game though.

I'm a bit over an hour in, great game so far. I started it on Hard and was getting my ass kicked so I played again on Normal and now I'm having more fun

Up to Chapter 5 ><

Also... since I bought the tin edition it came with some extra MP stuff so I thought i may as well try it... did the godly trial thing, sided with Hades and then spent 20 minutes continuously failing to join a match :/

This game is easily the best GOW game yet! the combat is so refined, and the adventure feel of GOW2 is there!!! The graphics and the soundtrack are just spectacular!!! And the multiplayer is really fun too, although right now I am getting my a$$ kicked lol XD.

I really dont know why the hell some reviewers rate with a 7! WTF?! The game is at least a solid 8.5/10 considering the core elements of GOW are still there, but it feel fresh and really fun.

For me though it is a 10/10. An awesome experience every PS3 owner must buy. I am playing the game for the 4th time in a row!! XD

For anyone on the fence thats in US:

Through March 24, if you buy God of War: Ascension from GameStop.com, you'll get God of War Saga, the PS3 collection with five more God of War games. Don't play them all together, though. You'd probably start seeing everything as a mythological creature to be bisected.
