Official God of War: Ascension Thread

I've search I didn't find one but here it is.

This game is fucking awesome!!! I stayed up till 3:30am playing it last night.

Spend about half playing the one player mode enjoyed it then tried the Multiplayer online and couldn't stop playing!

I'm still trying to get the move sets down evading doesn't seem to be used by many when playing online in my encounters I have yet to try the co op modes and capture the flag.

So far so good for me I'm loving this game if anyone else has it and wants to play online with me my PSN ID: DeviousOnePSU

Anyone else pick up the game yesterday??

Has anyone else been encountering glitches? I have come across a few while playing.

1. Sound effects were syncing up to the on screen action. This happened during cutscenes.

2. On the level where you have to move 3 very large mechanical snakes, the 3rd snake glitched very badly for me. I fell through the body of the snake while it was moving and I kept dying while trying to fight off enemies. The glitch remained after the checkpoint would load. I had to stand perfectly still till I was able to jump and grapple the wall. Moving at all would cause Kratos to fall completely through the snake and out of the map. When I was able to jump, you could only see half of my body, it was really crazy.

I picked up my collectors edition yesterday but haven't played. Have a final I've been studying for before I get sucked in for hours on end

Yup, God of War: Ascension is amazing. I think it's the best in the series.

Sony's still putting out blockbuster games with a new console on the way. What's not to love?

I'm finding the multiplayer extremely hard, but addicting. I'm hoping with more practice that I'll actually be able to kill a few people and not get killed in 2 strikes. I haven't tried the sp yet because I don't want my 48 hour xp bonus going to waste.

It will die, I give it 3 - 9 months before its just the dedicated folks. Its why I dont get why people rush multiplayer into games that dont need it.

Anyone else having issues downloading the DLC that came with collectors edition? I.e. dynamic theme, avatars, multiplayer skins

I just entered my code and was able to get an itemized list of DLC that I could download individually and got an error message when selected "download all"

Went back in to PSstore and now it's under maintenance

love this game, i love the new ways of interaction when you are about to kill and mini boss. When you have to move out the way. What is everyone favorite special attack, i personally like to use zeus and Hades.

Finally entered the multiplayer mode and did the brief training. I didn't see the extra armor from the DLC like Leonidis' available to download.

Am I missing something? From playstation xmb under transaction history it's there along with other armor but not on download list.

I absolutely adore the multiplayer. It's so fun and the graphics are amazing! I'm just hoping for new stages and maybe one more god to use since they do have that extra altar. I really love the MP experience. I've been waiting for something like this for a long time! I'm already addicted and have maxed out the Zeus battle mage class. FREAKING AWESOME GAME!

You don't have to download it, the code just unlocks them in game. Go into the armor settings and the Leonidis armor is the last one on the list to equip.

Didn't get this game yet, but I'll be getting it in the next week or so. I have the rest of the games so it'd be rude not to get this one.

So I got a bad case of the trophy whoreness and must attempt to "collect em all", but I hate playing some games on hard -- difference between being challenging, yet fun.. and out right pissing me off, and being no fun.

If I beat GoWa one below hard, can I play hard later with maxed out health and that? (Cant recall if you could do that in GoWIII, its been too long. Figured I'd ask, else this will be another game where I am a few trophies away from platinum)
