PS4 Box Art?

I think black would look awesome as well.

Maybe to change it up from a blu ray case, like Sony always do, a similarly proportioned Vita case, but almost blu ray size.

Imagine a bigger Vita case that can fit a disk in it, with the big blue PS4 logo/strip and a nice black box.

Sony has used different cases and colors for each PS console that came out. I don't think we will see the same box art for PS4.

The case will probably change, but I highly doubt Sony will move away from blue and the PS4 logo. All branding efforts from the PS3 Slim to Vita, to current PS4 identity suggest that PS4 isn't going to change much. Business has also changed for Sony in favor of creating an interconnected PS ecosystem, so they probably want to keep branding between consoles similar to some extent this time around.

Not saying the generic, brooding lone wolves on every boxart these days are better but I'd like to see some where you've got multiple characters showcased.

I'm sure this will happen. Manuals have become kind of outdated at this point. Although there are still paper materials that could still go in. For instance maps and moves list etc. But I think the age of manuals is over.

Unfortunately, yes. Manuals used to be colorful with plenty of info. Dragon Quest VIII's being 40-some pages. Now they're black-and-white and only a couple pages.

Yeah I remember the days of opening up the case and looking at the manual for an hour. Used to be so much great stuff in it. Good reading and info. That's a thing of the past though sadly.

Black would be great i agree, just hope it doesn't have the top piece like the current ps3 cases (i really hate it)

I really hope the cases remain clear. I honestly hate it when I have to get a 'Greatest Hits' game and deal with the red casing, just looks uber tacky to me. As for the blu-ray cases, same thing but I can tolerate it as it's not part of my game collection. Hell, I'll even go out of my way to make sure I don't buy the 'Greatest Hits' collection versions, I absolutely hate them. Am I the only one?

As far as the color scheme for the PS4 goes, I'd love to see green. We've all see blue/red before, but not much green (except Xbox) ofcourse. I don't mean that obnoxious lime green they use, more of a turned down hue. Such as a hunter green.

No, I agree, I have 0 'greatest hits/platinum/top seller' PS3 or 360 games. PS1/2/xbox are a bit harder to find and ive got lots from childhood but going forward, it will stay as 0. So, sooo ugly

It's funny because I have friends who actually LOVE the red and will trade people for the cases. I think it's retarded.

Personally I DO NOT LIKE the newer branding for the PS3 and was actually upset to see they were sticking with that during the reveal (though expected i guess)

I don't mind the platnium boxes, but the art is terrible. Same with the essentials art. Which countries are these from? Never seen 'em here in Canada (and I surely hope I never do)

As I said, PAL regions. UK, Australia, New Zealand etc

More along the lines of glossy black. Not matte like DVD cases.
