This is pure speculation at this point. just for fun also, What do you think the box art for the PS4 games will look like?
an example i found: this case seems wider which im not liking, instead of a redline (PS3) there a blueline bar even though its a example.
I would still prefer the cases to be in bluray ones obviously but not clear cases like the PS3 has now!
Here's a black BR Case looks pretty slick, im liking black

Hopefully not too wide, like the first image. It looks goofy.

I imagine it might look more like the Vita game cases?...
But as they are still using blu-rays I seriously doubt they will change the size of the cases. The Banner will probably be that royal blue colour they keep using. Possibly black for the cases.

Also, this is why I dislike the current PS4 logo. It looks too similar to the PS3.

That wide one just looks odd. I think they will keep the blu-ray cases but they need to do something to make it obvious that it is for the PS4. I think they might use the blue that they use on the vita cases.
I can read your thoughts.

Considering there's nothing really in the cases anymore besides the actually disk (and maybe a stupid advertisement pamphlet), there's really no reason for them to be so large now days (DVD cases). With trying to keep waste down and things moving more and more digital, the cases shouldn't really be any bigger than a CD jewel case, anything larger is just a waste of space/material.
Basically, I'm thinking they should take the PS3 cases, keep the width, shrink the height, and maybe make it thinner (like BD cases). Which I think is the intended idea of the WD case in the OP. It's not actually wider than what we have now, it's just shorter, which makes it look wider.Last edited by Felix336; 03-14-2013 at 02:52.

We might have original PS1 styled cases! haha
I wouldn't mind if they stuck to the same size as the PS3 cases and I like that they are semi-transparent. What's wrong with some of you?

There is going to be monochromatic blue and the PS4 logo, that's for sure.
As for anything else, not sure.

Sony has used different cases and colors for each PS console that came out. I don't think we will see the same box art for PS4 games.
