PS4 pictures: new console concepts

Seen these? What do you think? Not sure if I'd rather see something minimal like a blu-ray player or something outrageous I've never seen before.
For some reason I like the first one.

First one looks like an inbred version of the original PS3.

Third one looks like a giant Vita.

I can already guess that the PS4 will have a flat top so the camera can sit on it. It almost looks like the camera is sitting ontop of the console but the only difference is that you can't see the console to even get an idea.

The look of a console has never been a big deal to me, though.

Just fan art. Wouldn't really call it "concept" art. I'll wait till official pictures to come out before I judge it.

The people who come up with these concepts always seem to miss the point. A next-gen console shouldn't remind you of its predecessors, apart from maybe the Dualshock controller since it's tradition.

Give me the real the design, and no I don't really care what people guess it's going to look like. I mean seriously, can't believe anyone thought it would look like that first design..If I made that I would be embarrassed to show it to anyone.

Agreed. I don't see any point posting fan art as concept. All it is is trolling. Like I said I can wait till Sony shows it at E3.

The dev kits for all playstations have always been very big. A good example is the PSP dev kits which where bigger than the original Ps2. Ps3 was fairly large as well.

It's anyone's guess. As for the designs above, they all look far to over designed for what it should be.

Yeah I think size wise we'll be looking at a unit about the same size as the newest slim, but a bit fatter, more shoebox like.

We know it'll be black anyway and probably with a matte finish
