    Desktop PC on the desk?

I saw a few pictures today ont he BF3 batlog of people having their desktop actually on their desktop and it go t me wondering is it common and how many of us at PSU do the same?

My desk is too small but even if it was alot wider I wouldn't do it, it somehow makes me feel cramped and confined.
In the pics I saw the PC is nearly always on the right side where their mouse is coupled with a tiny mouse mat, now personally I want alot of space for my mouse so I can move freely.

Thesedays cases can be huge, mine is as follows which is considered midi tower.

    (W) 210 x (H) 415.5 x (D) 505.0 mm
    (W) 8.3 x (H) 17.8 x (D) 19.9 inch

Having something that large right next to me doesnt feel right to me.

My mouse mat is wide as my case is high.

lol my Antec 1200 case is far too big to be on the Desktop hell I don't even have a PC desk my PC is in my living room about 2 foot from the sofa with my monitor on and old portable TV stand as it's the perfect height for it tbh you only ever see that done in Offices these days.

My friend dose that. I find it strange too. For me it's always been and will always be under the desk. Above is for the screen and 'work materials' (ie food books just non cluttered feel)

Holy shit thats awesome, I'd love to have a bigger version that has decent spots for 5 speakers. Though I never knew you could put monitors on its side...
