I am too average to understand

Being 'average' depends on how lazy you are in life. If you average, its only because your too $#@!in lazy to change your situation...

Considering the amount of debates I get into on these forums, I hardly classify as average. I don't own a home, car, get on facecrap, be productive or most of anything. I am however slowly working on starting a business but I know that with my refusal to accept going into debt, it will be awhile. I need to do a lot more though before I try the kickstarter option.

For the most, yes. I however, plan on doing it without going into debt and thus, being beholden to shareholders, executives and money lenders who would all rather squeeze me dry rather than see me succeed.

My dad's been self-employed for 20 years. No debt. Unless of course you are getting a business loan and are paying that off, but that isn't quite the same thing.

It was back in the late 80`s early 90`s he had the shops. Finances were considerably more flexible generally back then...the debt was only startup, and stock, and they paid for themselves within two years..as i said, $#@! was easier back then.

Normality is overrated and uninteresting. I find myself to be rather eccentric and different to how most people act, and I enjoy life a lot as a result. Instead of watching $#@!ty television and working until I'm exhausted, I work minimally and strive for greater personal enjoyment. Over the past two years I've taken up writing, learning German (plan to learn another language eventually), and drawing. I do aspire to write a book someday, and also to travel the world. I feel quite abnormal.

There's a lot of finer details I won't bother mentioning. The point is: $#@! society, live your life your way.
