Any PR is great PR and it seem to have worked for them, because they have got are attention

didn't read the article, but I don't see the problem with the assertion (if correctly quoted).
it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they didn't bother bidding due to margins. as another PR byte suggested, they see console production as an opportunity cost. clearly they wanted to focus on other things - namely the mobile and desktop markets.
i don't really see the problem. standard business considerations - if that's where they see the money being, so be it. i don't think we have any evidence to suggest they were beaten to contracts by AMD and are acting salty.....Got YLOD? In the UK? I'll buy it off you.

The only problem is that they never kept it in their heads and instead told the world

It seems they are at the fore front of this and getting all the attention on them, while others slip through the cracks

I still don't think they were ever really approached by either Sony or MS once they had decided they wanted integrated solutions for the purpose of money/power saving as well as keeping the heat down. An APU is the only real option so AMD the natural choice.
For once I agree with you.
Although Nvidia could well end up pricing themselves out of every important market if they aren't careful. Sometimes you just have to accept that small profits are still profits. Financially they are in good health at the moment but things do change fast especially in the mobile world and Tegra isn't as widespread as they'd have you believe. Qualcomm are the big players in that market and Nvidia are find it hard to compete
