I'm thinking the video is a fake. Could easily be manipulated and adding a logo to it at the end. Could have been a class project lol. What this is saying is what I assumed was happening all along. But wouldn't be surprised if we have another Star Craft Ghost on our hands.

Square Enix and the video uploader confirmed it was fake a while ago.

I don't know why it's still being brought up. Lol.

I really don't know what to believe anymore. If it comes down to it, I'll just get the PC version of FFXIV.

According to Yoshida, yes. He thinks the quality of the game is what hurts other titles that use the same business model.

If they'd stop being retarded and actually cater to what people want, they wouldn't be so financially screwed. For instance, teasing us a thousand years ago with a PlayStation 3 tech demo of Final Fantasy VII. If they actually did a remake ... it'd be guaranteed to sell like hotcakes. That crap they pulled at the PS4 event is why they're not doing so well. They need to get it together.

Redone to work like a main entry. That means it'll inherit a turn/time based battle system.... for one. Either way I'm simply not one the believe they are suddenly turning a side game into a main numbered entrant and pushing back everything else suddenly. (naturally I don't know how sudden the decision making happened with them)
Either way though don't think I can every be turned off by the possibility of get my hands on this game.

This is some great news....if true....IF Sony were to play their cards right and have an exclusive Final Fantasy at launch....that would be HUGE...I still have high hopes for this game....Man it's been years since I've been so excited for an E3..If VSXIII is a launch title....count me in as a DAY 1 PS4 adopter

As long as it's a game that will actually release onto the market that can be played by the people, I'm all for it. For now I'm indifferent, that way I can't be disappointed again if nothing shows up.
