There's a dude on GAF who leaked the 8 GB of GDDR5 RAM and he also said there would be a 'reverse betrayal-ton' at E3, and I believe he said it during a Final Fantasy discussion.

He could be referring to something else, but this makes sense, since the last mainline FF going multi-platform was a 'betrayal-ton', and so if the next mainline FF is back to being a Sony exclusive, then that could classify as a 'reverse betrayal-ton'.

Oh my God! Sony is directly involved again!? This screams PS1 era to me.....having trouble containing excitement if this is true! I've missed Square and Sony being proper partners. Dark stage cue the old video we all know by now of Noctis leaving the large building with all the soldiers with the visuals on par. He reaches the bottom of the stairs and summons his blades. Spotlight turns on stage of someone with a PS4 controller...LIVE ONSTAGE DEMO.

Verendus - This is guy who initially leaked this rumor.

They're somewhat right. The Sony presence is kind of exaggerated but not without merit. They are involved in a capacity. They are still missing one piece of info here but that is yet to be fully decided on. Besides, there is potentially bigger news than this now from SE and Sony.

Versus is not necessarily using what will be considered Luminous. FF16 will be the first mainline FF title to fully take advantage of that engine.

Zeal - This is another one of the 'insiders'. However, Verendus feels this guy is a fake.

Look the game is honestly going to be revealed in the matter of no time now, so just sit back, relax and get ready for the marketing campaign to gear up.

The only thing that will bring me joy is when people say "This is all CG bullshit" when the game is shown.

Cause it won't be.

What would be most telling to me, assuming this is all true, is that Sony had to come in to co-develop. Meaning Square-Enix is no longer capable of producing a AAA 3D RPG in-house with just the resources on hand.

It would be very telling.

It was honestly just money.

It'll probably feature the entire development script to be honest, which would be bad. Who knows.

Anyway, the 2009 trailer did not give me enough of a view of the combat to even give an appraisal of it. I get that its supposedly Kingdom Hearts like, but I'll just wait to see more. I'm fine with a Kingdom Hearts like gameplay, so long as I'm not limited to controlling only the main character while everyone else is A.I. like in KH.

Its been SIX years and the game hasn't come out.

Anyone who bought their PS3 has hundreds and hundreds of good games to play, if anyone is still holding out for this on PS3 and not expecting to be PS4 they crazyy
