Interesting theory LOL. The points raised about Kojima's past photo-realism pics and the subject of his GDC conference all point to a curious possibility. That shit was SUPER awkward and weird.

No video game engine could render a human being more realistic in visual detail and animation than some of the best Hollywood CGI. It's also not the first time someone recording an interview wouldn't feature both people in the same frame.

The way the interview was conducted I think that is exactly what Kojima wants people to start thinking. This whole thing is great marketing, albeit very silly.

Normally I would have rejected such a retarded claim, but I'm sticking with my guns because it's Kojima and because he has been harping on about photo-realism for ages lol. And it's goofy fun to speculate so.

Concept of "FOX Engine" is photorealism. I think the era of sticking to graphic or sound is over. How you freely play, connect to Internet, pleasantly play is the important point but at the same time min level of realism is needed still. We at KJP aim making look like in real even when looking at reduced game screen for the simple model.

To everybody who thinks that something like this is impossible... You know that CGI can be lifelike... I mean just take enough time to render it, and voila!

If people knew how much footage they see is actually fake... you know, media deceptions and that kind of thing. So much stuff is just CGI, and not even good CGI. LOL @ the RedBull Skydive media event - because that's all that it was.

But whatever, if we speak strictly about games, then YES - it is absolutely possible to render a human and make it look so perfect/not perfect that it actually looks real. Some mistakes happen though.

I don't say this Joakim Mogren guy is actually CGI, I'm just saying that it's possible. But it might just be a guy who acts like an idiot, or a guy with some weird facial expression (maybe he has a desease that causes facial spasms? whatever).

In any case - I'm sure we're in for a serious mindfuck from Kojima. LOL I'm sure he sits in his office with a big evil grin on his face (well not now, cause he's at GDC, but you know, when he's at Kojipro).
