Pint is a unit of measurement for liquids.
We buy beer in pubs/bars by the pint. (568ml)
see picture above.
so when someone says "fancy a pint" or "grab a pint" they want to go drink some beer with you.Last edited by keefy; 03-23-2013 at 03:41.

Hm. I was in London for the so-called millenium. The city and the rest of the country for that matter is fucking awesome... when it's not raining. I'd love to go back and stay awhile again sometime. I had a blast visiting all the historical areas though I think a few of them are a bit overly advertised in the greatness and awesomeness department.

Good to hear some positives about it from an American view point. I've heard many opinions from people that have gone there saying they treat Americans like assholes. I took it with a grain of salt naturally. I still want to visit the UK badly. Regardless of what I've heard. Not trying to offend anyone. Just stating word of mouth. I have faith in my UK brethren that when I go it will be an awesome visit. I will be able to one day when I can afford my trip to Europe.
