Phantasy Star Online 2 will miss its scheduled early 2013 PC release in North America and Europe, Sega has confirmed.
“Originally slated for an early 2013 launch, Sega can officially confirm that [Phantasy Star Online 2] has been delayed,” a Sega spokesperson told Polygon. “We don’t have any specifics but will update everyone as soon as there are more details to share.”
The MMORPG was announced for a western release in July last year.
In Japan, a PS Vita version was released last month. An overseas release for the handheld edition has not been announced.
Still waiting on the PS Vita version... :/

Couldn't care less about the PC version, but I really, really hope North America sees a Vita release sometime in the near future. We need more massively multiplayer RPGs on the Vita over here. I guess Soul Sacrifice is going to have to tide us over...

I mean, I'd download it either way (PC or PS Vita). Especially considering it's free. But I'd really like to try it out on a handheld. Thanks to Kwes for the signature!
