Yep that's where I make most of my money. Depends if you want to go freelance or build up a bunch of sites of your own.

Dreamweaver is the way to go and any image editing program (other than MS paint lol) will do fine so long as it does the job.

You don't really need to do a course on it either I taught myself mostly you learn along the way.

If you're wanting to make sites for yourself you need to find a niche (and apparently the best niche to have are fitness & health sites), but basically anything that interests you that isn't overly populated by fan sites or whatever. Once you've got a niche in your head just build a site around it.

As for learning HTML (which is the best place to start since it's easier than php, javascript etc.) I can't really give you much advice in words and tbh I can't fully remember how I learnt because I was only about 14 at the time), but basically "get" Dreamweaver and mess around with some layouts in design view (just make random page layouts until you get the hang of it).

It doesn't take too long to learn and is actually easier than it looks, finding a niche is actually the harder part. But if I could do it when I was 14 you should easily be able to do it. So that's basically all I can tell you at this point and just post here if you need help with HTML/CSS. There's a few forums that have a lot of pros you can turn to as well but you shouldn't need to unless you do want to get into php and javascript at a later date.

Besides the obvious like learning HTML, CSS and perhaps JavaScript. Try to understand what makes a website good and what makes a website bad in terms of design. There's plenty of web designers out there, but very few can actually make a really good looking site. If you can do that, you can make a lot of money.
    Other opinions are available.

That's where pretty much every site is made lol, the only competition it ever had was Microsoft Frontpage back in the 90s and that was when sites looked horrible so didn't matter how they were coded.

BTW if you need a server use 000webhost.com since it's free, I used to use it when testing pages/sites.

Wordpress with a professional template and you are set.

Forget coding sites for yourself, wordpress will do most of it for you, but still give you a chance to get down to the code level if you need to.

It integrates pretty much everything .. Light box, sliders, ecommerce plugins.

Yep, Dreamweaver is the way to go..pretty straight forward.

Not the career for me though, I got bored with it quickly. I only ever use t for my own website.
    Trophy-licious!
