I have had a Singstar icon on the dashboard now for months upon months, It's right under the Game icon under whatever is in the disc,Tried getting rid of it tonight again but no success. Best of it is i have never nor ever have singstar anywhere near the console.
Whats going on with it? How do i get rid?

Same for everyone. Something to do with it being free to play or something? I heard you have to buy individual songs or packs though lol
Can't get rid. Pretty intrusive way of increasing it's audience i guess

They pick the strangest game to put on! I wouldnt mind so much if it was Uncharted or something...But Singstar? Odd
I heard it's pretty fun though, so I might have to check it out some time. I haven't got mics though so I wonder if the mic on PS Eye would suffice
It's like Home it's a freebie but you should be able to get rid of it IMO but it doesn't bother me that much.
It is not in the right section, ps3 forum admin don't know any BS, he sould move it to Music section.

Stop preordering games! Stop buying day1 games! Stop being idiots!
Just a nice little party game innit
@Shingo - Well yeah they could put it under the Music section but then it's not really a platform to listen to music (?), it is a game afterall xP. Best solution = let us get rid. But I've learnt to live with it now so whatever
If you accidentally click on it, it asks for you to download the app it doesn't take you to the SingStar main menu like you expect and trophies don't activate until you've played 10 songs so it says, my girlfriend plays the game has Vol.2 on disc what this does is makes a central point for all things singstar all your downloaded songs are in there but if you want to play songs off a disc you just pop it in your console and thats it. the downside is if you have a load of discs from the singstar range you have to eject load the next disc it would of been good you could copy the tunes to your HDD.
My girlfriend added the trophies to my list on my account aint to bothered but would be good to delete 0% trophies they love it as a party game for weekends and with the eyetoy can have a laugh with videos
