So I decided to give this game another try after the bug filled play through that was my last play through and seems to be going well. My thing is I have played for 15 hours, only touched two main quest stories, and have done countless other quest. it seems there are many quest but the characters are just forgetful. So is this normal? Is there just to many side quest that I should go against my nature and skip some? Interesting to hear opions on those who played it and beat it.

I'm currently playing through this on and off. about 30 hours in I think. I think the game is pretty good but sometimes have trouble with the amount of side quests there are and just get overwhelmed and stop playing for awhile. always get back into it but yea think I'm gunna cut down on the side quests just to try and stay excited about the game
I liked the game from the start, so maybe it helped getting into the universe and having sympathy for the NPCs, but there are lots of quests I wanted to succeed as I wanted to help the NPCs that couldn't solve their problems : the wolf cursed to become a man by fairies that calls you "two legs", the woman poisoned by a corrupted water source that slowly goes insane, the chamberlain unable to know how to order personalities, the town assailed by giant spiders, the woman asking to find her lost husband who is just afraid to say he fled his army to her ... I really found charm even to the smallest quest givers.
The things that upsets me aside from the odd camera angels sometimes is loot. I mean it is seriously way to random and for a set collector it drives me nuts. I had to let my set collecting go. Also the min i turned 16 i dumped all point to max blacksmithing and now crazy gear drops.
Anyways i am loving my longsword/chakrams/lighting build. With gear i am super op and is def a welcome change from the aurrounded by mobs and get beT down. Another complaint is buttons sometimes non responsive. Def enjoying it better than first time around.
Kingdoms of Amalur is kind of like the young adult version of an open world game like Skyrim, or maybe Skyrim through a WoW filter. That means there's like 200+ side quests, some of which you can't really do if you aren't the right class, there's certainly some thief specific missions. Many of the side quests can be tackled whenever you like, especially once you have the whole world opened up for fast travel and get some of the houses. There's even some side quests that are essentially endless, like hunting related quests. I think I burned at least 60 hrs on the game, not enough to platinum, but I think I had 80% or more of trophies.
One issue is that the game doesn't change much between classes, so I didn't have a lot of motivation to try the game again as a thief or a mage. Sadly the single most interesting character in the series is in one of the DLC packs, the pirate one.
Just started playing again after a 2 month break. My character is a level 22 warlock. Mainly use daggers and a little magic.
I'm playing this game now, on the 360 though. But I've run into a bit of a problem. If there's a bug in the game is there anything you can do to fix it? I can't complete a certain quest. Do I have to just load a previous save and hope for the best?
Currently playing? Skyrim (360). White Knight Chronicles (PS3). Majoras Mask (Wii). Final Fanasy VII (PS2). Just completed? Final Fantasy VI.
