Fatal Frame comes out Tuesday!

This is one of the scariest games I have ever played. I am very excited that this PS2 classic is finally making it's way to the PS Store.

Yeah I think they might only co own the IP from 4 onwards, Tecmo might still have full rights to the first 3 (although it's not on the Japanese Store so maybe only for the US). Oh well it's a well timed released, will get this with my $10 back.

they dont own the IP at all they only published 4 to try to make it exclusive on Wii. They have no rights to the IP or the others in the series.

Nope they co own it with Tecmo as of 2012:

Tecmo's Project Zero - or Fatal Frame as it's known in North America - IP now appears to be co-owned by Nintendo, suggests a report.

Nintendo recently updated its copyright status to acquire co-ownership of the Fatal Frame IP, according to a recent post on Rely on Horror. The Kyoto-based company also appears to have full ownership of the spin-off Spirit Photography IP and Project Zero 2: Wii Edition, a remake of Project Zero 2: Crimson Butterfly.

Just order a PSN card if you want it, the US Store is better for Classics anyway (NTSC+they actual scan the manuals in).

I know, but I rather keep my purchases on my primary account, unless absolutely necessary. But the PAL versions have 60hz mode, so I think I'll wait a little.

Yeah I kinda wish I had just made a US account back in 2006 for my primary account, I kinda regret it now.

The only problem with it coming to the EU Store was that it wasn't Tecmo that published it in Europe, so chances are 50/50 but who knows.

I thought about it, but I need a legitimate primary account so I can use my credit card, I find it much more practical. But I do have a US one for my NTSC needs.
