    Low annoying whistling sound

I seem to have a low and very annoying sound coming from my PC I think or its my HDTV I am not sure I have my TV connected to my HD7850 and its like Morse code if I could try to describe it. I have read tons of pages sayings it coil whine from the card but I've always got it from all my ATI/AMD cards all the way back from my HD5770 1GB games play fine everything is fine but I'd love to get rid of it if I can does anyone else have this issue.

I feel its pointless sending it to RMA sine it works fine in general

Try turning on one without the other to find the culprit.

I had that coil whine on an old 8800GT, didnt happen in every game or when it was under full load only when on the start menus. TI eventually died.

Try connecting to DVI and not HDMI.

try capping your fps at 60? I think coil whine gets bad when your card is pushing as hard as it can in menus.

if your not sure its your gpu check to see if your psu is the problem.

if you think its an audio issue change out hdmi to dvi, maybe get a sound card with optical out if that is the issue.
