I'm really loving the serious tone and attempt to actually develop the character in this movie. This is the first time I've ever cared about anything related to Superman, and I hope the movie delivers.

Yeah, the 'You ARE my son...' line definitely send a chill down my spine. Such a short scene but, man, it was emotional.

same, superman to me has always been the hardest superhero to make a film out of. how do you make tense a movie about an immortal (almost)? every other superman film has fallen short and focused on 'superman saving the day' rather than the thing we all can relate to; being a human.... They actually finished filming about a year ago because it was originally due to come out last Christmas, but they ultimately changed the release day to 14th June 2013.
