I've come across afew threads with the occasional tip or heads up about a feature on the Vita that some didn't know about and that others did so I thought it maybe worth while compiling a list for new owners, owners like myself that have had it since release and everyone else in between with tips, pointers and did you know...
What made me think about it was only finding out a short while ago that you can take in game screen shots with the PS button and Start button being pressed at the same time.
Gutted I've only just found that out as there would have been a hell of a lot of pics I'd have taken between now and when I first got the Vita.
So for anyone who didn't know, PS button and Start takes a screen capture.
Anyone else with some helpful info to add..?

When playing PS1 games, you can change settings for PS1 games by holding the screen for a few seconds.
Its great that you can assign arrow keys to left and/or right analog stick.
Playing Tomb Raider 2 with analog stick feels great.
Though it kind of feels weird after playing some of the newer ones where you can control camera and movement independently at the same time.Almost everyone will say: buy console that has games that you want, and those who say otherwise are ignorant.

Thanks for the PS1 tips. I new holding the screen down bought up the menu for altering screen size etc but didn't realise you could map control inputs. Super

Backing up / restoring your Vita doesn't have to be done on the PS3 only, you can also Backup to a PC once the content manager is installed on the PC.
