Question for college students on PSU

Have you ever taken two higher level math courses in one semester? Is it doable?

I'm considering taking both Trignometry and Statistics together in one semester.

If you have a VERY good understanding of college algebra then you would probably be OK depending on the rest of your work load.

As long as you keep them separate, I don't think you'd have much trouble. I pushed my math courses back to the very end, so I'm just now going though the stuff.

I find it strange how colleges in America still take classes like they are in high school. In the UK we just do courses which focus on one thing from the very beginning.
    Trophy-licious!

Its dumb like that here. I learned all this in high school but I have to take it all again. Fun stuff. Waste of time and money.

I took my math courses over two semesters so I wouldn't know how difficult two would be. I'm not good with math at all so for me it would be killer.

I'll have a total of 14 credit hours. I'd be taking General Chemistry and another science class.

IDK how it is for you guys, but here it's big business for the loan companies and schools. They want you in school for 4 years or more, making you a "well rounded" student, instead of solely focusing on a study in much less time.

As for the OP, stats is pretty doable. I don't think it would affect you much to do these two math courses at the same time. I feel your workload wouldn't burden you down too much.
