Here's a little more info for those who care. Apparently it's a new "sub brand" and with a completely new setting/story/characters. They make it sound like it has nothing to do with MW (or any other CoD brand for that matter). Also, it will be on both current and next gen consoles.

Maybe most importantly, they apparently also made a new engine.

I'm interested in this new engine..

But yeah, next gen and current gen is pretty much confirmed since 1) the retailers outted the box art for PS360, and 2) its being shown at the next xbox event. Could be good

Love me some CoD, looking forward to this! They could have chosen a better name though, there is already a military shooter series having to do with ghosts available.
