Never happen. They stop blaming Videogames only if they can find a new scapegoat..
PCs are very much like Air Conditioners.
They both become utterly useless once you start to open up Windows....

Like the current state of U.S. gun laws.
"The biggest adversary in our life is ourselves. We are what we are, in a sense, because of the dominating thoughts we allow to gather in our head. All concepts of self-improvement, all actions and paths we take, relate solely to our abstract image of ourselves. Life is limited only by how we really see ourselves and feel about our being. A great deal of pure self-knowledge and inner understanding allows us to lay an all-important foundation for the structure of our life from which we can perceive and take the right avenues.

Going along with what PBM said earlier (man, I'm late to this thread), we can't all hop on stories like this and say "see, I've been doing myself a favor all along!" We should by all means find some solace in the cognitive benefits of occasional gaming, but that doesn't warrant us to forget the negative effects of gaming too excessively.

    $#@! me!

I'm shocked. THis must be the first article/research I've read in a while that isn't calling for the pitchforks and flaming torches against gaming/gamers.
I'm seriously $#@!ing shocked they're not blaming gamers for another spree killing
