It hasn't been great for Nintendo in terms of sales of the Wii U so far but I really think Wind Waker HD and a new 3D Mario game could tip the scales in their favour. Hundreds of Zelda fans have already said they'll buy a Wii U when WW is released and I'm all for buying one if the new 3D Mario game is anything like the Galaxy games. I really hope this works out for Nintendo. Despite what anyone says, they've always been my favourite of the three big companies. I put so many hours into the DS and 3DS.

They need new IP's and stop focusing on Old series

This is kinda true actually, LoZ isn't as big a system seller or as big a seller period as what it once was, Skyward Sword pretty much proved this. Mario 3D, Smash Bros. and Mario Kart will shift the units more than LoZ probably.

Not necessarily true, they just need to add features/elements to the existing IPs that will give the game(s) a new lease of life. That said, some games like Mario and Zelda work well with the same features/elements as they already have. As I said, I wouldn't mind see a new Galaxy-like game on Wii U and I'll more than likely pick up Wind Waker HD.

Maybe, but As some have said

L.O.Z, Mario, Metroid etc.... Have been suffering badly, because they have the same problems and that is the originality has gone

In some cases, yeah, especially in the case of of the 2D Mario games (New Super Mario Bros, I'm looking at you) but the 3D Mario games as of late have been great. The two Galaxy games on Wii sold well, as did Sunshine on Gamecube, and Super Mario Land 3DS did pretty damn well too. Nintendo have always been consistent in terms of quality with their 3D games. I mean, while Skyward Sword might not have done as well as, say, LTTP, it still sold quite a few copies. They're clearly doing something right.

Yes i agree with you in a small way... But fresh new ideas and series too add to a massive catalog, makes sense does it not

I think Skyward Sword had more to do with when it was released, than the series itself. It's not what it once was sales wise, but I think it's a system seller still. I could be wrong, but I believe the Wii version of Twilight Princess did really good.
Thanks to THUGGEDOUT for the sig, The Black Wolf for the av.
