It basically comes down to "press square for ending A, press X for ending B..."
Aren't certain endings only available based on your actions though? Or does everyone get the same choice?

correct. When I got to the end I was only given 2 choices for endings. I didn't find 2 dudes I needed to speak to before reaching the very end.

There are some monologue changes in the ending based on your playstyle. It did have an "ending machine", but I didn't find the endings bad. Dishonored was great, but the story wasn't particularly good.

Not to derail my own thread, but what is dishonored like? I'm not a huge FPS guy. I like stealth games, cover shooters...so I'm not sure if I'll like it.

It's in first person, but not a FPS. If you like stealth games, then you should like this. The game gives you the tools, and you choose your approach in how you assassinate your targets.

It would be cool to see the formation of UNATCO in the next game.

Dishonored takes the multiple paths through a stage thing to insane levels. On a given stage you might be able to find a sewer and get under the target building, or swim around the back, or climb a wall, or teleport to a higher point, or possess a rat and get in through a hole, or you can decoy the guards out of position or fight them and just walk through the front door, or pick a pocket and find an invite that lets you in without fighting. Once inside you can sneak around, you can try kill everyone, you possess people, you can trigger environmental events that might kill or wound a target, you don't have to kill at all, you could stealth your way through or knock all the bad guys out, or blast them off upper level balconies.

Like Human Revolution Dishonored commits to its setting, the game takes place in a sort of fictional Victorian style steampunk setting where the basis for the technology is essentially whaling, alien whales admittedly, but the game as a result has a very distinctive art style. It doesn't try for photo realism and uses a more stylized slightly exaggerated approach to humans.

yup. There's actually a trophy for buying no powers other than teleport through the entire game.

Blink ('teleport') is a really fun way to traverse the environment.

No I couldn't get on with the controls at all. Which is a shame as it looked cool.

Gave it to a friend, he liked it.

I loved this game! My only fault with it is that they LIED!!

They LIED and said there would be more DLC but there isnt!

Loved all the options you can choose, diffrent choices that effect the game, i got all the DLC there was for it and i can happily say it was worth it. Love the game so much im still considering getting the Prequel Novel. Epic Endings, and whatever you do, dont skip the credits... theres something at the end
There once was a man named Sidney, he used to collect shells on the beach. everything was going well for him. untill he stopped and took a look, he had a glance and a stare and realised he what he was reading.
It was a forum signature full of nonsense
