    Cant update to Uprising, Displeasure rising, Help??

    So, i cant update to Uprising and its rusteling my jimmys, it goes to like 4-6-10% and then DC's and its back to square one. i just wanna plan damn it!

    Anyone got any ideas for wtf i can do? ive deleted the whole thing and downloaded it new in the hope it would fix it but... back to where i started.

    you can try putting your ps3 into an area of your network where network traffic is unhindered (a DMZ)

    or if you're using wifi make sure the connection in over 50%

    if it still doesn't work after that, try putting your PS3 into the DMZ


    in your internet browser, type in your routers web address, (search up your router model online for its address, its usually 192.168.X.X)


    then go to your PS3 and in the network section select the option that shows you your internet settings in a list. it will show the ip address your PS3 is using to connect to your router.


    take that address and in your web browser find the DMZ section and copy it in there.


    (this would only be temporary though as the PS3 will ask for a new and potentially different address next time it is turned on. unless you tell it to ask for one address all the time by manually configuring it )

    Sorted now, persistance worked. no idea what i done but... i can play atleast! pending nobody else in the house wants to use the internet coz still having some trouble with that _
