It used to be if you sold a "black label" PS1 game, such as Final Fantasy IX, you'd get $200 without batting an eye. What happened to black labels being expensive and sought after?

What happened to black label being expensive?
Currently Playing: Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag (PS4) and Bravely Default (3DS)
It's only really FF7 that has such a high value for black label and that's if it's either
A) The one with the misprint and/or
B) Brand new and sealed
An unsealed FF7 black label will probably cost you ~$30, probably due to the game being easily available on PSN now. And the PC version brand new and sealed costs even more than a PS1 black label new and sealed, mostly $300+.

Black label games have gone down since PS1 titles started releasing on the PSN. FF7 went from $100 to $40 after it was released on the PS Store.
Many rare PS1 titles were worth a lot because it was the only way to play them. Now the only PS1 titles worth much, are unopened black label rare titles. Mostly hard to find RPG's.
