Give me more perfect scoooores. Like i said already last year, properly GOTY 2013. Damn it´s a good time to be a PS fan ^^ Naughty Dog should rename to Naughty Gods. Can´t wait to play that badass by myself. Seems like everyone loves it. Time to get crazy.

I don't need to see any scores to know it's my game of this generation.

Still to this day don't know how that game is the best rated game on metacritic. I think TLOU will wind up beating it. This game just got me a bit more excited with all these awesome reviews. I'm simply going off of scores. I took a vow to be hands off with this game. I wanted to be completely surprised when playing it. Only question is, what is the campaign length sounding like so far?

It's because many journalists went in already prepared to like the game, and weighed the atmosphere and writing and artistic intentions above the gameplay itself, thus ignoring easily noted flaws and making the game sound far better than it was--and I think we should all be careful to note that this exact same phenomenon is occurring with Last of Us.

I'm excited for the game, but the only 10/10 to emerge that actually matters has come from Edge, and I think we should pay a little attention to the sub-80 scores and see what it is they have to say. I've no doubt TLOU will be great, but that 'Citizen Kane' poster-image above is example of the kind of ridiculous hyperbole that preceded GTAIV, and which has now attached itself to Last of Us.

I guess I'm just keeping myself tame due to my huge let-down with Uncharted 3. I think there are going to be some major flaws with Last of Us that no one has yet to mention, in part due to the "bleak, oppressive" atmosphere and "mature" writing. A lot of game-journalists ignore gameplay for what they consider art, and will grant their scores accordingly. But then that's why Edge's score is welcoming. Their 10s actually mean something.

Haven't been this excited about a game in a long, long time. Hopefully I will be getting my copy from Sony this week, although it was meant to come last week and never did...

Anyway, the scores are brilliant; typically, there's always a couple of sites that give it a lower-than-expected score, like GameSpot's 8 and Polygon's 7.5 (not bad scores but really, you have to wonder about a 7.5 when there are just an abundance of 10s out there).

I've played the demo, previewed it for PSU a few weeks back, and it's utterly brilliant; atmospheric, challenging, tense and engrossing, I can't wait to see how the story pans out, and Joel and Ellie are definitely looking to be one of gaming's best pairings. Booker and Elizabeth, you have competition!

Holy Fuck...I knew within 30 seconds of the demo it was something special.

I think this also confirms when ND split into 2 groups to work on U3 and TLOU the talented guys worked on this!

Same as me man. I don't trust any review apart from one on Eurogamer. Been that way for the last 8 years now. Seeing them give this game a 10/10 makes me want to play it.

If Sony had an effective way of getting these scores known to the general public they would be flying.

I suspect the reason TLOU was delayed until the friday after E3, was so Sony could PROMOTE THE HELL OUT OF IT during the conference. This is a game noone should miss, and it makes sense to use E3 as the final press blowout to help push TLOU sales.

Whats up with the bashing about UC3 lately ? Are u all nuts ? UC3 is still one of the best games for PS3 so far. The only issue i had with it was that the story reminded me to much of UC2 but despite that the game was perfect. And i can´t understand the bashing about the MP too. Imho the MP of UC3 was super fun and almost an own game for itself. (high-five your buddies was absolute hilarious, never saw that in any MP game before)

25 perfect scores from 51 seems pretty good. But i really wonder how some sites give out scores. I mean when i see that Polygon give "only" a 7,5 out of 10 then i really want to know what in their eyes would be a 10/10 game ? Super Mario Brothers ? Zelda ? Halo maybe ? Just wondering...

    *tinfoil hat on*

Polygon is funded partly by Microsoft, at least hat's what I read on GAF anyways - they were apparently pushing the whole "720 has secret sauce" shizz that went on for ages as well. So it might explain why their review goes against the grain of most of these outlets,

    *tinfoil hat off*

    UC3 was spectacular.

Does anyone know if this game will have any of that "BLES" codes thing on the disc which makes it impossible to buy the eventual DLC/season pass thign for the store? Im thinking about ordering my copy from Shopto but im not sure if UK copies of the game has this sort of trouble. I remember the PES football games do though

U3 was alright, but it was nowhere near on par with UC2...got the feeling they were running out of steam with the series which is why I don't think they should do UC4 for a while.
