    I need some help!

Can someone please tell me how to restore my computer to factory settings? It's a Toshiba. I don't have a disk either.

Remember that i'm going to die is the best way I know to avoid trap of thinking you have something to lose, you're already naked, there's no reason not to follow your heart.

Go to C:\ and locate the Windows folder. Once in there, locate and delete the 'system32' folder. All the files contained within this folder are the settings, date, etc to keep your user profiles. Delete that and its job done.

that will cripple the OS and stop the PC from working if a recall

    EDIT:
yeah, what you playing at Jaeger? i just looked it up and that will stop the OS from working....
system32 holds all the system drivers and dll's

I'm not well versed in this area and I'm sure someone else will be of more help.

But I think you need a windows disc to do this

It was quite obviously a joke. Everyone knows what the system32 folder is and what happens if you mess with it.

Delete System32 is a popular trolling scheme used to hoax inexperienced PC users into deleting the Windows system directory called System32. It is essential to the running of Windows OS and without it, the computer would not work at all.
That brown name carries big responsibilities...don't forget this dude.

Didn't even know it was possible to just go ahead and delete that folder lol. Since it is so critical in the running of windows why would they let you delete it o_O

Reinstall Windows - I do it every 6 months ish because I love when it's super fast after a fresh install.

Sometimes the installation files are on the actual system itself, otherwise you'll need to buy a copy of Windows I guess.

Excellent troll It would've been. I still love you though.

Plus reps for everyone in here. I went to a thread and a guy told me o "to hold the power button plus 0" and It will send me to a recovery screen.

How old is it, and what model number? We can find out if it has a recover partition that will restore it back like the day you bought it.

I apologise. My comment was only to be taken as a joke but I can completely understand why it could've been taken as trolling or even bullying. Some people may not have even been aware of the system32 joke. Forgive me.

I saw that he wasn't online and thought..."did he?" lol. It's like the"guys, help, I have a tech problem with the game and I have fought 10 hours in this dungeon to gt to the boss!"... "press alt F4 to fix your problem brah" *brah logs off game*.

No, I wasn't getting responses as fast as I thought then I just surfed the web for a quick answer. I was dropped on my head multiple times. Some people say I'm a bat sh!t mad crazy scientist. It depends on who you ask.
