    Thoughts on PS4's console design?

In case you might have missed it:

Also, thanks to Ixion for posting the GIF and box design as well as MonkeyClaw for the image of the backside.

[GIF of the rotating 3D model isn't working anymore]

I think it looks alright. It reminds me a little of the PS2.

Looks like the last PS2 model, bit bigger. Still smaller than Xbone.

I kind of like it. I wouldn't exactly call it pretty, but it'll stand proudly beside my tv none the less.

Definitely unique! For me it is going to take a little time to warm up to the design, but it is what is inside that counts!

You left out the backside of the PS4! (note: internal power supply)

I didn't care for it initially but it has grown on me quickly. Very unique looking.

I'm assuming the little glossy part is touch sensitive? No power button or eject that I can see.

I like that it looks about the size of a PS3 slim. I was expecting something bigger.

One question: Where do the discs go? Edit: Never mind. If you click for full sized image you can see the slot on the left hand side in the middle.

I thought it was supposed to have the traditional outs for non HD tv's too? I only see an HDMI port.

BTW, I do like the design. It looks both high tech, but also kind of reminds me of the PS2. Hopefully, Sony can gain the same amount of competition crushing success that the PS2 had in the past in this gen.

What are the measurements for the PS3 Slim?

    Edit: Found it.

I actually like the design alot, reminds me of the original ps2 and the slim ps2 combined.

They made the design for a specific reason, here it is

Smaller than XB1 but that thing is hideous...lol It won't matter as long as it plays games.

I'm normally hard to please when it comes to design, but this looks quite nice and it's small. The back looks horrible but thankfully its the back lol
