I think i's a smart move, people who want backwards compatibility needs the 360, and having both consoles side by side will look better. I'd still prefer full BC on PS4 but oh well. I paid the extra $100 for BC on PS3 and would do so again for PS4.

Thread: New Xbox 360 E
They look different, but they are way too similar. I keep up on video game and associated hardware news so I have no problem distinguishing the two really. I was over at my pal's place last night though, and he starts showing me the "xbox one" and I had to chuckle a bit because he was looking at the redesigned 360. They look way too similar to each other. I highly doubt it will actually impact sales at all, but I don't see it as being the best choice.

2 black shiny boxes each with a camera. A completely different retail box will help but it still seems silly.
Hopefully for those buying one Its a good improvement.

I read somewhere it would be available on the 21stGaming on all platforms right now.
Next Gen top picks:
PS4: Infamous SS, DriveClub
One: Project spark, Forza 5
Multi: Watchdogs, The crew, FFXV, KHIII
Weird, I find that to look much nicer than Xbox One. One looks a little rough...something is missing about it.

Ok, my Xbox 360 E is ready to be picked up! I will pick it up in the next hour from Best Buy, take it home and set it up. I will post some comparison pictures to the Xbox 360 S to see if there are any size differences.

Can't really tell if it is quieter or not. SEEMS the same as far as that goes.
Not really sure it looks any better or any worse, just different than the Xbox 360 S.
The power button is NOT touch any longer.

So far it's doing good. Seems snappier. Noise seems about the same. Looks better, but I miss the touch sensitive button.
You have too much money on your hand Soldier.
I got one today. It is far quieter than my 360s (I think my power supply was dying on my 360s though).
I like the appearance of the thing. I do miss the touch sensitive button also but I'm generally happy with it. I'm hoping this machine will never die. I have a pretty big library of 360 games with more to come.
$#@! i wouldn't get two ps3s if i had the money, much less another console lol. probably going to wait out on ps4 as well, i don't wanna deal with all that supply bs.
if it came with a kinect, i'd buy it. my son would love that.
Soldier have you noticed any of your games still running from the disc even when installed on your Xbox 360 E?
All my games seem to be running from the disc permanently and the fan is going and disc is spinning even though I have them all installed.
I put my 250GB HD from my 360 S in to my 360 E. Is this causing the problem?
edit: I'm testing it out. I'm deleting an install for one of my games and re-installing it again to see if that is the problem.
edit 2: It seems to have worked for Black Ops II. guess I'm going to have to delete all my installed games and re-install them. I was hoping I wouldn't need to do that but I guess it isn't such a big deal.

New console looks great apart from the tiny power button! Glossy consoles just look that more classy!
Did your older 360 die and you are only using it for the pics? I am curious why you would buy the new model if your other 360 worked just fine.
10 years and counting!
