There is a lot going right now and this case is just what the media and administration wants to shift the focus from themselves.

They scared of being painted as a racist...and is willing to say that Zim was the aggressor and throw him under the bus. That's why most of the witness stories change, and one even say that Zimmerman was on top of Martin.

One woman even say there were multiple shot...multiple shot...

He WILL be thrown under the bus. There's just too much at stake for him not to be.

There is far too much doubt in this case to convict. No way could a jury see and hear the same evidence I am seeing and hearing and not doubt the prosecutions case. There is no way a fair and reasonable person could examine the evidence and not find giant holes in it.

I feel the same way because the prosecution has an extremely weak case

You're correct. There is a slight possibility he'll walk. I think though that more than anything, politics will play a large role. And then, there's the media bias all but ensuring that there's pressure put onto the jury. I wish this wasn't the case.

There is a lot of doubt in this case. It's ultimately up to the jury though.

exactly that's the only way he won't walk. there is not enough evidence to convict. so it'll be "peer" pressure on the jury that decides it

I think "slight" chance is more of a "more than likely" chance this guy walks then has to go into hiding for the rest of his life

All I want to know is did the kid run away and he chased him? If so, he should get life and tortured with brownie mix.

Theres one story where he chased him lost him then trayvon came back and started hitting the guy however there are so many "stories" and holes in the story that these charges aren't going to stick

Given what I have read on this, admittedly awhile back, I hope Zimmerman is acquitted. This whole thing is just a race bating charade. Zimmerman acted a bit stupidly, but he did nothing illegal or overtly malicious. He was over zealous, but Trayvon did jump him and the kid was no 'child angel'. That media myth has been soundly debunked.

The only reason this has made any news, at all, is because it involves Castle Law (as I recall), Trayvon being black and Zimmerman being cast as a "white" guy, in spite of being hispanic. The media had a clear agenda from the get go and the whole thing got blown out of proportion.

Pretty much its if your in a situation where you life is threaten and you defend yourself its not a crime to murder the attacker however in this case who was the aggressor and who was the victim is hard to determine

We don't know why he jumped him. Most likely he said something to him to cause that much anger that he would change his mind and instead of running away from the creep, he instead wanted to beat his ass.

It makes no sense to me that someone who is trying to "avoid" the issue, ends up going back to him to beat him up. if the kid was a "thug" like everyone is making him out to be, he would've taken the first opportunity to go against him. He did not. In fact, he chickened out while he was talking to his girl. That means he had no intention of fighting that night.

I would beat the $#@! out of that punk too if I was in his situation. You all know you would too. Seriously, if someone comes up to me and says what I'm doing there, he's not the goddamn police. $#@! yes I'd be pissed at him to begin with. He already knew Zimmerman was chasing him.

I know some of us would've retreated anyway but I don't find it surprising at all that it offended him. and then we know some words were exchanged between them before it happened. Trayvon did not chase him. Some words were exchanged and then Zimmerman "claims" that he started walk back and then gets hit from the back...yea, even if we believe that he was walking back after interrogating him, it makes no sense that a kid who is scared of him at first, would all of a sudden get courage and enough anger to hit him. Even if Trayvon hit him first, there's no doubt in my mind that something happened somewhere in there that Zimmerman isn't telling us.

He will be found guilty. His 911 phone call and 6 women jurors has sealed his fate.

Ive listened to the 911 tape and its pretty incriminating however its not 100% clear. I remember the 911 operator telling him to back down and he didnt.

We'll see what happens to much information missing nothing concrete

Yeah, let's not forget that he had already decided that Trayvon was likely a criminal. That's another problem there.

Exactly. They told him they didn't need him to what he did and he did anyway. I think we can all agree that if he would stayed in his vehicle and never confronted that kid he would be alive today. Plus it looks pretty bad that he didn't attempt any type of first aid. You can clearly hear that kid on tape begging for his life before he was shot. Zimmerman is totally responsible for this whole incident. I'm confident he will be found guilty of 2nd degree murder. His self defense claim won't stick.

For the sake of interest, did Trayvon not have a personal criminal history? As I recall he had a fairly troubled past.

I don't know what's going to happen. When people who are on Zimmerman's side talk, I feel like he will win. When people who are on Trayvon's side talk, seems like his side will win.

It still boils me that he'd kill someone begging for his life, if true.

    like?

From what I recall, Zimmerman had an arrest and he was on pills.
