No surprise there.
PlayStation 4 Game Pre-Orders Outpacing Xbox OneJune 14, 2013
The early next generation console adopters are speaking with their wallets to the tune of PlayStation 4 over Xbox One if individual game pre-orders are taken into account.
At online retailer Amazon.com, there are four PS4 games on the top 20 video game bestsellers list before the first Xbox One game appears. Those games include Watch Dogs with 60 minutes of exclusive gameplay for PS4 in position 9, Sony's own Killzone: Shadow Fall at position 12, Bungie's Destiny in position 15, and EA's Battlefied 4 in position 16.
Down in position 18 is where the first Xbox One game appears and that game is, quite obviously, Forza Motorsport 5 Day One Edition. The other Microsoft first-party game with a Day One Edition, Ryse: Son of Rome is hanging out in position 20.
Right now all of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One launch games are priced at $59.99. This pricing for physical discs could change between now and the anticipated November/December time frame that these games are expected to arrive in stores. There also exists the potential that Microsoft and/or Sony could offer digital download versions at a slightly lower price.
No matter which way you slice it, the PlayStation 4 games are outpacing the Xbox One games at Amazon.com. This is coming from an outlet with a broader and more mainstream audience than would pre-order their games from somewhere like GameStop. As in any good conflict, the winner isn't who strikes first and declares victory in the first battle. There's many more years of war left to fight in this next console generation.

Kinda reminded me of this for some reason:
Great news and as it gets closer to launch even more people will pre order more ps4 games.
Let's hope Sony don't mess this up and continues to work for the gamers

Funny enough I got 3 PS4 games preordered, and I cant preorder a PS4 cause there out of stock.
(Though I did get a $20 off each game deal-Watchdogs, InfamousSS, and KillzoneSF)
That video is priceless
The, $399.99 price tag made a lot of people happy. That's why I pre-ordered 2 of them.
Can't remember who it was, I think it may been Tretton or Shu who said it during an E3 interview so far, but the idea of producing a console priced around the $400 mark whilst being powerful is something they've been planning and working towards since '08. Crazy.
As I said in another thread, SCE come across laser focued with the PS4 and it really shows. Happy days for gamers.

This is like Shopto, PS4 dominants their pre-order chart and other retailers have reported pre-orders have gone through the roof doubling Ones total within hours.

my nephew is a hardcore 360 fanboy and I have had endless arguments with him about the 360 and ps3, after e3 he said to me i'm getting a ps4, Microsoft can go screw themselves.
i just ordered call of duty ghosts
I haven't decided which games to preorder yet.
I think I'm gonna go with BF4, Fifa14, DriveClub and maybe Killzone. Should keep me busy until the holy grail of inFAMOUS: Second Son comes out early Q1 2014
Knack looks a lot of fun and those kinds of games have been missed this gen, when compared to last, but I need to see more
this part of the post wasn't needed. it was a troll comment. no one is splitting hairs, don't make an issue out of nothing - Cuguy
There are Launch pre-orders (what XBone is calling Day One), which have allocation limits, and there are Standard pre-orders which don't really have any allocation limit except as supply line limited and can also mean your order may not be filled for months after launch.
This Amazon status today:
is not a surprise but still kind of astounding. Yes, XBone is second but these are *STILL* Day One units. The PS4 sold out of Launch units two days ago. The astounding thing is PS4 Standard units are still outselling the XBone launch units. Either the allocation number for XBone launch units is very high or they are selling only some slightly larger number than the PS4 Launch units, since that number is now fixed. Then, looking down the page, it's kind of astounding it's mostly filled with PS4 game titles. This is exceeding the actual game sales now, except for LOU. Still interpretive but seems kind of obvious to me.
Wow I'm surprised they would post something like that. Guess they're watching their assess
