Well.....sorry MS, you had my love and money for the 360, but for your xboxone..........$#@! you in the interim, ill see you sometime in 2014.

Its not even their stance/policy that has bothered me(although the price can $#@! itself) its their whole arrogant $#@! you attitude which is putting me off

Thanks to Final for the sick sig!

you may well be suprised, Sony with the ps3 this generation, Nintendo the N64 generation and how people have not taken to the WiiU.

No way of knowing how people will react, but the price and environment is a recipe for disaster.

I wouldn't worry about a thing. The sales numbers will speak for itself. If the Xbox One sales aren't up to shareholder expectations, Microsoft will shift at least some of its policies. With any luck, Steve $#@!-face Balmer will be forced to resign from his CEO position. If sales are up to shareholder expectations, then the consumer has lost a very big battle. Just remember, there's national and international politics associated with the console itself too.

I honestly think it'll be much like this gen - minus the under performing PS3 versions. As in, not much different.

But hey, we'll see I suppose.

This backlash didn't exist last gen. MS are smoking something potent.

Didn't take them long to change because of Sony and the back lash of potential customers...

    Money talks.

Yep. But credit goes to vocal gamers too for voicing their thoughts about the stupid 24 hour DRM.

    Owned.

The pure backlash from the gaming community is what caused this change. They were aware of pre-order numbers, etc.

Yes, indeed. Microsoft heard loud & clear -- DRM isn't the way to go.

This clearly shows that we do have a collective voice and some power behind it. Hopefully we can continue vocalizing and pushing against DRM restrictions in our games again in the future, but I sadly think it's inevitable eventually.

And no thanks to those that were willing to bend over and take it due to their brand loyalty.

No different than people claiming to leave sony if they had to pay for on line multi-player. It was take it or leave it, so they are bending over and taking it...lol

I wish more people would use their collective power for things more important than gaming... but at least it's a start.
