Both EA and Ubisoft produce titles that have always entertained me, even when they started milking a series.

I can not see how that would work, if you are getting the seem cover all the time and the inside is nothing new... How can it appeal

Because Call of Duty is published by neither Ubisoft nor EA?

I have to admit, the last Assassin's Creed was rather boring but I enjoyed all the AC's before that and AC IV: Black Flag looks awesome to me.

Battlefield has gone that route as well. Annual releases are becoming a bigger thing next-gen.

yea I was reading that and like what? they definitely don't publish cod lol. I'm kinda in the same boat I enjoyed most of the ac's before 3. 3 just sucked IMO. and honestly black flag does look cool, but after 3 I'm not spending 60 until I see some reviews or threads on here

CoD is already annualized, i'm talking about other franchises. That's what I've heard from a friend with contacts inside the industry.

i know E.A and Ubi did not make C.O.D, just saying it is a series that is getting milked and will until someone stops it... Battlefield and games like C.O.D

are easy to creat every year, because it is war games and you can make them easy

war is and has been an ever growing trend these days and all you have to do, is pick a place and model it on the C.O.D/Battlefield layout and there you go. A series you can milk forever

I disagree Claud, war does change. that's why u have conquerors and famous military generals in history, because they altered the normal concept of war and combat and that's why they came out on top. I know what you're saying but, this one time, you're wrong.

Well the SP's are really short and the main selling point "mutliplayer" is nothing but a map pack with added features.
Games like AC are larger then a majority of games, story driven and are released annually.
That is impressive when the games are generally good to excellent.

First of all, it's been two years since Battlefield 3. It is not an annual series and it has never been, except for Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3. Even if it was, they show that their engine has improved and that there are even more possibilities than before. I love their games and I love the changes they make.
