Asked a question in the wrong place: so, correct me if I'm wrong, but is the Killzone bundle (the €499 one) only available as an upgrade to those who have already pre-booked in Europe?

I don't believe it's exclusive to those who pre-ordered but it will likely sell out to those who pre-ordered.

Just video and pictures. If there will be any 4k games they'll probably be really simple psn games. Honestly I'd wait on getting a 4k tv anyway.

There's at least one confirmed instance of ps3-ps4 cross play with Helldivers. So I guess the answer is it's up to the developer

Ah okay, it might just be a first refusal sort of thing that's goin' on. Hopefully I can avail of the offer when there's more released.

I need some confirmation on game sharing with a household member. On the PS3 I could download a game and as long as I had my iD on my sons PS3 he could play those games as long as I downloaded them with my account onto his machine. However we could not both play at the same time. It would take 24 hours etc to enable the other system to play it.

I heard they have changed this for PS4 and that two can play at same time. Is this correct? I am asking because Im buying two PS4's and I would like to go all digital if we can buy one copy of the game and share it. So could I buy a digital COD and both of us login to two separate PS4's and play together? Or will we need two copies?? I know I can do map packs this way but not sure about the games. This would make a big difference in how I buy going forward digital vs retail.. Can anyone confirm how it will work?

Speaking to a staff member down at a local games retailer today who I have preordered with. He mentioned that they have a PS4 display case (which he was unable to show me due to the obvious embargo in place) but he mentioned that he thought that the ventilation could maybe be a problem for the PS4. I really hope Sony have learned from the launch PS3 fiasco of rushing out hardware that barely lasted a year and a half (in my case). I really really hope that they have all the inards up to an exceptable quality this time. Anyone know/read anything positive to settle my nerves? Thanks in advance as always for any advice/knowledgeable comments posted.

All reports are that the PS4 is well ventilated and not generating much heat. The only PS4 known to have crashed was locked in an air tight case for some dumb reason and recovered itself as soon as the plexiglas tomb was opened back up.
This security case did not seem well ventilated. When I worked for SONY i put several of the Kiosk together and the REAL system for PS3 was not even the one you saw, it was locked in a well ventilated metal cage with fans inside the back of the Kiosk. ANYTHING will overheat in a plexiglas case with 1 hole open for cables.

Does anyone know if they are supporting NTFS format for external harddrives or is it still going to be the lame fat32 format

I doubt it. From what I remember it was designed by Microsoft for NT-based OS'. I imagine Sony wouldn't be able to license it.

Have no concrete evidence, but I highly imagine that'll remain unchanged.

Can't imagine why they'd want to anyway, NTFS is rubbish.

It's more so about not having to format a external hard drive to fat32 and also only having a 4gb transfer limit

Does anyone know of ps4 supports party chat for 100 percent at launch? Only seen a few things and nothing concrete. One reason I preferred 360,social aspect was much much better!

I don't see why not. I think the controllers still connect via bluetooth, and that's just a standard and isn't affected by region. Though I can't say 100%, I just assume it'll be okay.

If a friend kept the same username from PS3 to PS4 it is confirmed they will remain on your friends list and you will be able to see what PS4 games they are playing. If that is confirmed i dont any reason why you wouldnt be able to send messages.
