Book nerds, do you ever buy books?

The people who read books on this forum, do you ever buy books instead of checking them out from the library? I do. I just bought Dan Brown's "The Inferno". I like to own books and at the same time support the author for his or her works. You can also buy books for cheap at some local libraries.

Yes I buy all the books I read. I mean they are fairly priced. Generally under 10 for how ever many hours they take to get through.

Nope, I know I should but if I can get it for free then I will for my kindle. I normally only read books once so I'm kinda put off buying something for 10 that i'll read once and it'll just sit on a shelf. Libraries, I use it more than buying books cause I can take books home and write down recipes or knitting patterns or some shizz like that.

I buy my books. They're the only thing I keep collecting, unlike video games and movies.

I'm reading "The Collected Stories" from The Legend of Drizzt Anthology, then I'll be reading "Children of the River."
I talk to myself because I'm the only one whose answers I accept.

I use to buy books and i had over 100 books... But re-reading them just makes them repeat the same thing over and over again and i prefer online reading

Plato and Aristotle, a detail of The School of Athens, a fresco by Raphael. Aristotle gestures to the earth, representing his belief in knowledge
